Point angle

Point angle of 118°
The drill has a point angle of 118° for a faster penetration. Appropriate for soft metal.
Point angle of 135°
The drill has a slightly flatter point angle of 135° for good centering when you start to drill. Appropriate for hard metal.

Shank type

Cylindrical shank
This shank fits every drill head, so the drill head doesn’t need to be changed everytime.
Cylindrical reduced shank
Perfect when the drill’s diameter is bigger than the drill head.

Cutting point type

Standard point
A higher pression is needed. Also the centering has to be more accurate.
Split point
For a precise centering and guidance.

Steel characteristics

HSS

Heavy-duty high speed steel for drilling holes in easy-to machine materials with a strength of up to 900 N/mm2. Drill is grounded.

HSS-G

Heavy-duty high speed steel for drilling holes in easy-to-machine materials with a strength of up to 900 N/mm2. Drill is grounded.

HSS-Co

Heavy-duty high speed steel with 5 % cobalt content. High ductility and heat resistance, for drilling holes in difficult-to-machine materials with a strength of up to 1100 N/mm2. Drill is grounded.
